More rain and storms.

It is 69 in South Gallatin at 12:00 pm.
The dew point is 63.
The humidity is 80%.

After the morning rain we have cleared out for the whole county. We only got 0.17" of rain in south Gallatin this morning. We also had a gust front before the rain.

Today- Rain likely. High 81. The humidity is making a return today with the south winds. That is why our high today is in the 80's. This will cause t-storms today and tonight. None of these storms are forecasted to be severe today.

Tonight- Chance for storms. Low 63. The nws says that there is only a chance for storms tonight. Most of the storms should stay to our north in Kentucky, but some probably will come to visit northern middle Tennessee. These storms should not be severe.

Friday- Storms likely again! High 78. Rain and storms will be more widespread Friday than they were today.  The reason for this is the surface front that will SLOWLY drift our way Friday. There is a good chance that north of I-40 will see more rain. Another reason for the storms north of I-40 is a disturbance to our NW that will slide East Friday. The rain will start around 7am.

Friday night- Some more rain. Low 56. The rain on Friday will last into the night. Thunder is also possible. no severe weather is expected.

Saturday- Rain and storms. High 66. The reason the high will be in the 60's Saturday is because of the rain the rain will last all day Saturday. The surface front will once again push right back over us helping bring in southerly moister and storms. No severe weather is forecasted.

The best severe weather chance will be Monday into Tuesday morning.
