Rain Is Coming.

It's 39 in Nashville, 37 in Clarksville, and 36 in Crossville at 9:00 PM CST.

Tonight- Slight Rain/Snow Chance.
Low at Nashville 30, Clarksville 29, and Crossville 29.

There is a small rain chance before 11pm and a small snow chance after 11pm. Not a big deal at all! Otherwise it will be cold with low's in the upper 20's and lower 30's.

Friday-COLD!

High at Nashville 37, Clarksville 37, and Crossville 36.

It will be a cold day Friday for all of the mid state! High's will be in the mid 30's to the lower 40's! No rain or snow is in the forecast for Friday.

Saturday- Rain?

High at Nashville 45, Clarksville 45, and Crossville 44.

There is a 20% rain chance in the aft. west of I-65. No snow, that could happen Sunday Night. It will be a cool, cloudy day Saturday.

Saturday Night- Rain Moving In.

Low at Nashville 35, Clarksville 34, and Crossville 34.

There is a 30% rain chance all over the mid state Saturday Night, no snow. All though no snow is in the forecast, we could see a mix of rain/sleet/snow if the temp. falls low enough. If this happens it should be in the Northern part of the area.

There is a snow chance Sunday Night, more on this Friday.

Friday Night Snow?

This post will have the info on Friday night's snow chance.

Well as we can get a better picture on this system, it looks like we could see some snow in most places Friday Night.

Yes there is a chance!!!!!!

We could see the rain push in the southern areas by 11pm then to I-40 by 3 am, then spreading northward. In the morning the HRRR wants to say there could be some snow along and North of I-40! We will watch this. Then it should be off and on rain all day. Mainly ON though. As the Afternoon approaches we could see a brief  break, then starting back up around 4ish.

The Change Over!

The change over could happen between 7pm-12am Friday Night, for all of the mid state. The snow should be gone by 8am Sat>

Accumulations- In the higher elevations ( Highland Rim, Cumberland Plateau ) could see up to 1" POSSIBLE. Other areas could see None to .5" POSSIBLE!!! This will change though, and we will keep you updated!

Snow?

Well it's time to bring out the s word SNOW again! To start off we have two chances of snow, both should be focused to the North of I-40.

Chance one- Friday and Into Saturday we could see some light snow. It should start off as some rain the transition to snow. The NW should see the transition first (3-6pm) then central areas (4-7pm) then finally the eastern areas (5-8pm) by 11 pm most of the mid state (North of I-40) could see some snow.

Accumulations- For areas close to the TN/KY border and the plateau. As of now 0"-1.5"
All other areas could see 0"-0.5".

It should all be melted by Sat. afternoon with highs around 43.

This is how us weather nerds feel about this systems forecast.

There remains a huge amount of uncertainty with this.

Chance two- Sunday Night Into Monday we could see the rain change over to snow, not all of the weather models agree. This is something to watch.

Accumulations- We really don't know right now.

These two systems are our only hope for snow in the forecast!!!!!

Weekend Outlook

It's 26 In Nashville, 25 in Clarksville, and 25 in Crossville at 5:10PM CST

Tonight- Awful Cold. Low at Nashville 11, Clarksville 9, and Crossville 9.

Lows will range from 7 to 14 tonight! Be sure to bring in those pets!

Saturday- Trying To Warm. High at Nashville 30, Clarksville 29, and Crossville 30.

No snow. It will be cold with highs ranging from 28 to 33. Most areas will NOT get above freezing.

Saturday Night- Not As Cold. Low at Nashville 25, Clarksville 23, and Crossville 24.

Clouds will be increasing, but no snow. It won't be too cold either!

Sunday- Rain? High at Nashville 44, Clarksville 42, and Crossville 43.

It will be warmer on Sunday, But there is a 50% chance of rain west of I-65 and a 40% chance East of I-65. No snow. The models some what agree that the rain will be coming into western parts of the mid state around 1PM. then going eastward as the afternoon goes on.

Sunday Night- Rain Becomes Widespread. Low at Nashville 34, Clarksville 34, and Crossville 36.

There is a 60% rain chance everywhere too. It will be a cold rain. As of now this looks to be just rain,no freezing rain.

The next chance for wintry weather will Monday Night through Thursday Morning, as of now on a scale of 1-10 this is a 3 as of right now. This could change.

After this week look for a warming trend to start, 50's by next weekend? We'll have to wait and see!

Tonight- COLD! Low at Nashville 19, Clarksville 15, and Crossville 17

There is a 30% chance of snow mainly along and N. of a line from Manchester, Columbia, and Linden. Accumulation will be minimal 0''-1/2''. The best chance for accumulating snow will be E. of I-24.
The winds will be from the N. making it feel even colder wind chills tonight will be from 12-5.

Wednesday- COLD AGAIN! High at Nashville 20 falling to 13 by 4pm, Clarksville 17 falling to 10 by 4pm, Crossville 19 falling to 10 by 4pm.

That is the highs not the lows! Wind chills will be between 5 and -6! Yes negative -6! There is a 30% chance of snow too 1/2" at the most. The wind will be N. around 10-18 mph with gusts up to 35 mph at times!

Wednesday Night- TOO COLD! Low at Nashville 2, Clarksville 0, and Crossville -1.

No snow, but brutal wind chills -3 to -8! Winds will be N. 10-18 with gusts up to 23 mph! TOO COLD!

Thursday- Still Cold! High at Nashville 23, Clarksville 23, and Crossville 21.

No snow, but cold wind chills -2 to 6!

Thursday Night- Another Cold One. Low at Nashville 15, Clarksville 16, and Crossville 14,

Cold Again. Wind chills 4 to 12.

This is my opinion. On Wednesday I think school should either close or let out early, because of the falling temps and the brutal wind chills. On Thursday I think school should be closed or delayed, because of the cold temps and the wind chills.

As we start to unthaw on Sunday another weather system is making it's way back in. This on will bring rain, or freezing rain. As of now we think it will be a mix with lows around 32. We will watch it very closely!
