It will be another hot humid day out, but it will also be a bit windy that will help a little.
There is a chance that these storms on Sunday May be severe but that's still uncertain.

The spc (storm prediction center) has sumner county under a slight risk for severe weather.

We will have to wait and see it is to far away to predict any severe storms, but there is a good chance we may see some.

It was 57 this moring witch tied the record low for today! It was quite cool this moring and still is.
The reason for all this nice cooler weather is high pressure and some north winds witch makes it feel AWESOME!

Thursday - nice high 81 

It will be another cool moring  tomorrow  57 same as this moring. 
There is a 0% chance of rain tomorrow and it will be sunny!
It will also be cool again because of high pressure and north winds.

Friday - Rain chances come back high 82 

Rain and storms are possible during the day (more likely at night and Saturday) 
It will still be cool but it is forecasted to be cloudy all day.
The spc does not think if these storms devolve they should not be severe but this is July and all it takes is a unstable air and we may see something.

Cooler And Dry!

Its currently 76 in gallatin at 12:00 pm

Today - high 79 clouds moving out then cooler and drier for us!

With the rain fall last night and the cold front this moring we have a drier and cooler air mass.

most of the county saw a qaturer to 1'' of rain last night.

The cold front has FINALLY pushed its way through. Now our day time highs will be in the upper 70's to low 80's and our night time lows will be near record lows like upper 50's 
That's really uncommon for mid July.

Our skies should turn sunny this aft.

Wednesday - high 79 it will be a cool day tomorrows but it will also be nice a 0% chance of rain is forecasted! 
It will be pretty cool out there when you wake up at 6 it will only be 59 so grab a jacket when you head out to work! Here is a little hope for the coolness the sky will be mostly sunny. 

Thursday - nice a little warmer high 81 rain possible Thursday night 

I would grab a jacket Thursday moring it will be 59 in the moring but it will warm up!

It will be nice and sunny AGAIN! But as the day progresses expect clouds to form once more as another system works its way into the mid state :( BUT this system is a warm front from the south and it will give us a chance for showers and storms. The spc does not think we will see any severe weather just rain and storms.

WE HAVE A SEVERE T-STORM WATCH TILL 8 TONIGHT

Today - storms likely high 90 

Showers and thunder storms are fore casted to devolve through out the day today.

Our first batch of showers this moring was from a out flow boundary. 
 Our next batch will be from a low pressure system that will come into middle Tennessee this aft 
we have a good chance of seeing rain and storms then. (this ain't the cold front! YET!) 
then a Little break will happen before the front. the front is forecasted to move through tonight and early Tuesday. this is our best chance of severe weather. 

So to sum it up we have 3 different rain/storm systems toady and early Tuesday. 
 The strongest storms will occur overnight. 

The spc has us under a slight risk for severe weather today and tonight. 
Here is what they think 

we have the threat for damaging winds and flooding while the hail threat is low we have a minimal tornado threat.

We may see 2'' of rain through Tuesday moring.



Tuesday - rain diminishing early then clear and cooler high 80

showers should be out of here by 9am 
Then it will be nice and cooler 
mostly cloudy through the aft then sunny 

Wednesday - NICE! high 80 

it will be sunny cooler and drier! 


We will remain cool on Thursday with a high of 82 

Then Friday our next chance of rain still cool high of 81 with a 50% chance of rain.

With all of this moister coming in we cant rule out aft showers. they will be isolated though.
I think we may see a few but our chances of getting a sprinkle are at 20% that's a slim chance.

Rain will be likely all day but mainly in the aft  we can expect 1.2'' of rain through the moring on Tuesday.

flooding is a concern for the area on Monday through Tuesday , because the front is moving very slow.

this eveings weather update

we need to keep an eye out for the possibility of SEVERE weather tonight! We currently have a cold front to the north of us with lots of unstable air witch will prompt storms near the Ohio river toady. As it pushes south ward into our unstable air it will have a good chance to strengthen because (1) its currently 86 and sunny out here at 3:10 pm in gallatin. (2) We have favorable condition's for severe weather. and (3) We also have high dew points.

The SPC has us under a sight risk for severe weather for this evening.
